Delivered Workshops
Shaping Light. Framing Space. Capturing Soul, a workshop run with Xposure International Photography Festival at a Sharjah landmark, taking participants through the full process from concept to final edit over four hours.
A workshop at Dubai Design Week, and a webinar for Ajman University, both aimed at photographers and design students moving from recording a building to reading one. A further session was run directly with Ajman University students on site, and a talk at Archinet covered the same ground for a working photography audience.
Focused Frames, a talk on the power of niche in architecture photography, delivered to an industry audience rather than a hands-on session, on the case for specialising rather than shooting everything.
What the Workshop Covers
The core of every session is the same: how to read a building before you photograph it. Orientation, the movement of light through the day, and the sequencing of a shoot around them.
The technical ground is covered without turning into a gear lecture: working with natural light, managing perspective and verticals, exposure for extreme contrast, and a structured critique of participants’ own work.
Private and Group Photography Courses
A private course is the fastest way to progress: a session shaped entirely around your work, shot on a real building, followed by a portfolio review.
Group sessions run for festivals and institutions, most recently Xposure, Dubai Design Week and Ajman University, and can be arranged around a specific project or destination.
