A cultural landmark in Sharjah by Foster + Partners, photographed for the lighting designers. The commission came from photographing the building before anyone had asked, on the judgement that it would matter once it was finished.

A private residence in Sharjah built around the Arabic language, its facade carrying a Kufic inscription across 80 pieces of solid stone. The commission started with a message sent to an architect who had never heard of me.
