Muraba Residence

An ultra-luxury residential tower on the Palm Jumeirah. Every image in this commission was a selling tool first and an architectural record second. The brief required complete coverage: facade, amenities, apartments across multiple floor levels, and the relationship of the building to the water.

The facade presents an immediate challenge. Its materiality, large format dark glass with a textured metal frame, reads very differently depending on sky conditions. The exterior sessions were timed to overcast afternoons where the facade could hold detail without glare, then revisited at blue hour to capture the building lit from within.

Interior sessions were coordinated floor by floor with building management. At the higher floors, the relationship between the interior and the horizon required wide compositions that the rooms could support. Lower floors required a tighter approach focused on materiality and finish quality. The project was published in Architectural Digest.
