Architectural film in Dubai, directing film and videography for developers, architecture practices, and hospitality and cultural brands. Recent work includes the Noir Matière film at Lana Residences and Orangebox Villa, selected for the Psarokokalo International Short Film Festival 2025.
Named Work
The Noir Matière film was made alongside the stills at Lana Residences, Dorchester Collection, treating the apartment's darkness the same way the photography does: natural light only, held for the moments when the space actually reveals itself.
Orangebox Villa, a residence built around a circular water court, was filmed and selected for the Psarokokalo International Short Film Festival 2025, a festival dedicated specifically to architecture and design film.
How a Film Is Directed
The moving image is treated the way the stills are: planned around when the building actually takes light, built from a walkthrough rather than improvised on the day. A building that photographs well at a certain hour usually films well at the same hour, for the same reason.
Direction, cinematography and edit are handled as one process, so a client is not briefing a photographer and a separate filmmaker on the same building twice.
