I’m incredibly honoured to be named the Grand Winner in Architectural Photography at this year’s GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN 2025 in Montreal, Canada.
The Grands Prix Du Design is an international awards platform that recognises exceptional work in architecture, design, and visual art. It is respected for its thorough and exacting judging process and for highlighting projects that push both creative and technical boundaries.
Over the past year, I dedicated myself to documenting the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a landmark urban development featuring more than 90 buildings by world-renowned architects such as Zaha Hadid, Foster + Partners, and Henning Larsen. My goal was to capture the district’s immense scale and bold architectural ambition through shifting light, changing seasons, and everyday urban rhythms.
I’m grateful to the jury members, the organisers, and everyone who supported the project. Having this project recognised on an international stage is a humbling moment and a meaningful milestone in my journey in Architectural Photography.
