Last Saturday in Paris, I experienced one of those rare moments that make you pause and truly reflect.

The  Créateurs Design Awards (CDA) 2026, held at the Shangri-La Hotel, brought together designers, architects, and creatives from around the world—people who believe that good design can shape better lives. Being in that room felt like a reminder that creativity is never just about aesthetics. It is about ideas, culture, and human connection.

That evening, I was honored to receive the award for Best Project Photography for Noir Matière. But beyond the recognition itself, what mattered most was what the moment represented: the value of patience, collaboration, and quiet dedication to craft.

The ceremony itself was a powerful reminder of what the design community stands for. Surrounded by architects, creators, and visionaries from across the world, the evening celebrated work that carries meaning and purpose. Honoring figures such as Christian de Portzamparc and Xu Tiantian highlighted how design can shape culture, communities, and the way we experience the world. Being part of that moment, among so many inspiring talents, made the recognition feel even more significant.

I am deeply grateful to BooBrook for trusting me with this project and for believing in a shared vision. Moments like this are never achieved alone.

To anyone creating, observing, or simply appreciating design, thank you for caring about the details that shape our everyday world. This recognition is not just mine. It belongs to everyone who believes that thoughtful work still matters.
