I’m happy to share that I was one of the winners in the Architecture -Cityscapes category at the International Photography Awards (IPA) in Athens, Greece, with the awards ceremony held on October 5, 2025. The International Photography Awards is one of the most renowned photography competitions in the world. It is open to professional, amateur, and student photographers, making it one of the most extensive and prestigious contests in the field.

Each year, a jury of photography experts from across the globe reviews thousands of entries across a wide variety of categories, including architectural photography, landscape, nature, fine art, and photojournalism. This platform’s rigorous standards and international reach make it a meaningful place to be recognised, and I feel very fortunate to have earned first place.

This recognition comes from a year long photographic journey documenting the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh. As the world’s largest LEED Platinum certified mixed use district, KAFD embodies architectural innovation and sustainability. This project highlights the district’s significance as a global architectural landmark and serves as a source of inspiration for my continued exploration of architecture and the urban environment.
